Emmerdale Hotten Line Mercedes 709D LCB L328AUT
New as a Midland Fox Cub, 328 (L328AUT), LCB bodied Mercedes 709D was seen at the weather blighted Wiseley rally in April 2012 fresh from its fictional role as the Hotten Line Hopper Bus in the TV series, Emmerdale. In had passed from Midland Fox to London Country North West as ML20 and was absorbed into the Shires fleet as 2088 and is illustrated in our Shires Minibus gallery with Gade Valley insignia.

Huxley Leyland DAF Sherpa Dormobile D22PVS
New as Luton & District 61 (D22PVS) this Dormobile bodied Leyland DAF 16 seater was almost certainly bedecked in the ice cream van style Hoppenstopper livery of the time. Its history is obscure, it certainly did not survive into Arriva days and was seen for a while with the Foxes Hotel Academy in Minehead. It is seen in July 2015 at the Alton Rally in the livery of Huxley about whom little more is known.

Carousel Buses Leyland Lynx
Former Wycombe Bus Leyland Lynx 303 (F558FJM) which passed with the company to The Shires as its 3808 remained local with its new operator Carousel Buses of High Wycombe. It is used, as the blind suggests, on local Council contracted services such as the former Shires 336 from Amersham to Watford, once the haunt of London Transport RLH lowbridge buses. The bus was an unexpected visitor to SHOWBUS international 2002.

Roundabout Buses 101 former National Welsh Olympian MUH283X
Seen at SHOWBUS international 2002 is one of the ex National Welsh/Rhondda Buses Olympians, HR82.09 (MUH283X) entered by Roundabout Buses in Sussex who had numbered it 101. The bus found its way into the Arriva East Herts & Essex division after being initially acquired by Southend Transport from Wales.
