Lodge's Coaches at SHOWBUS 2008
Family run Lodge's Coaches of Higher Easter in Essex are not too far from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford and became regular entrants with members of their active fleet and their growing number of classic coaches, recreating former fleet members of yesteryear. This 2008 line up at SHOWBUS reflects that with Duple bodied Bedfords TMY700 (OB), MJB481 (SBG), YMJ555S (YNT) with current school doubledecker all Leyland Olympian G299UYK, former London Buses L299 and Van Hool bodied Scania K113 N3RED. Two front line Setras completed the display entry.

Earlier in the day the Hong Kong Leyland Olympian was seen arriving at SHOWBUS. The bus was China Light and Power 304 (FC1714), but Lodge's acquired it from Talisman Coaches in Essex then later sold it on to M-Line in Alloa.
