Motts Travel Volvo B12T Jonckheere Monaco M20TCC
At the time, allegedly the most expensive vehicle in the fleet, M20TCC was acquired secondhand from Travellers, the Heathrow based operator. The vehicle is seen here not long after it appeared from the workshops resplendent in Motts new livery, which particularly suits doubledeckers. The picture below shows that the B12T has since been reregistered 5705MT, after the previous band bus, 5705MT, had left the fleet. On leaving Motts it gained another registraion with Westbus in London as their 124 (D9KKA). From there it became M67XUR, probably only briefly before joining Coachpoint as A14CPX, in which guise it visited SHOWBUS international at Donington Park in 2017.

Motts operated this pair of Jonckheere Monaco deckers for a while, 5705MT is seen with B12RMT in the Aylesbury depot in summer 2005, both coaches were ten years old at the time. Both deckers were ousted by a return to Neoplan Skyliners. with the advent of long tri-axle coaches and new coaches seating 70 with three-plus-two seating, the need for doubledeck coaches passed and the new Skyliners were the last.
