 Continuing the cat theme, when First decided to close its Bracknell depot in 2015 Reading stepped in to replace the long standing service to Windsor via Bracknell, but only running as far as Bracknell. Lion branding was chosen and Enviro400 doubledeckers, some acquired secondhand, were used. This example, 1211 (KX59GNV), on display at Showbus Woburn Abbey 2015, was acquired from Portsmouth University, where it had been used on a student service.

Delivered originally in Claret red, the hybrid Enviro400H, 209 (SN11BVP), was repainted in generic livery when displaced by new Enviro400MMC models and then to The Lion livery for the Bracknell service. It is seen squeezing round the back of the Oracle shopping complex in August 2016.
