In 2008 the Tappins Oxford City Sightseeing fleet was bolstered by some ex CIE Alexander bodied Olympians converted to open top. Leyland 53 (MUI7853) is entering the heart of the city along St Giles. It used to be RH12 (90D1012).
The Olympian is seen later on its tour in St Aldates.
Two years on and RH12 is seen on a glorious June day in 2010.
The Oxford City Sightseeing fleet has some new East Lancs bodied buses with the front partially enclosed. In Windsor this ex Dublin Bus has a partially covered front end least the weather become inclement. It was obviously much used in summer 2012 - when this picture was taken - the wettest year in the UK in one hundred years. Nonetheless, as can be seen, Windsor was bedecked with flags to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics. The driver of 267 (P767SWC) is having a rest outside the Castle before the next trip by franchisee Bath Bus Company (BBC), the RATP subsidiary.
