It was nice that a number of Armchair's "KX" registered all Leyland Olympians should end up working in Buckinghamshire for local operator Carousel Buses. The "KX" mark, along with "PP" and the more obvious "BH" were the marks allocated to the local licensing office. This is L556 (H556GKX) painted in Thames Valley livery to commemorate the former local operator. This early morning shot has the bus in Marlow on a Bucks school run to Wycombe (service 922).

L556 is seen again in May 2004 on the 400 service at Wycombe's Handy Cross Sports Centre.

Newly painted from Armchair's orange and white livery into Carousel red is this all Leyland Olympian L563 (H563DKX) on the 400, heading from High Wycombe's Handy Cross for Bourne End.
