Several of the Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL buses were transferred north to Go-North East. They were painted in dark blue for Pronto branded services, which accounted for the red, white and green Italian markings. This is former London Central PVL24 (V324LGC), Go-North East 6024, seen in Newcastle in August 2014.

Some of the Volvos sent north were given generic red livery to fill in on route branded services as and when needed. Here 6010 (V310LGC) - PVL10 - enters the intensely used Eldon Street Bus Station. The visual wall display shows which stands are available for use as buses arrive. The unidentified Wright bodied bus behind - probably a B10BLE - is also in generic red colours.

Another London Olympian which may not have needed a complete repaint as it is still red is 6033 (V233LGC) or PVL33.

Not another Volvo B7TL, but this time one of a smaller batch of President bodied Dennis Tridents. Former London General PDL20 (PJ02PZT) passed to Berkshire operator Courtney Coaches. The bus is seen on layover in what passes for Maidenhead's Bus Station these days, a handful of stands in Frascati Way.
