Phoenix Golden Jubilee Olympian
The ill fated Phoenix operation was conceived to transport students to the sparsely distributed grammar schools across Essex. The adopted purple livery was treated to gold lining for the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002 and three of the fleet joined the many special buses and coaches celebrating the Jubilee at that year's Showbus. Former L44 (C44CHM) is seen here with the former London Dart and Mercedes at the Duxford display.

Ipswich Buses Olympians
Side by side at the Constantine Road depot in Ipswich in August 2005 are former London Olympian L100 (C100CHM) and Ipswich's own 40 (M640EPV) an East Lancs bodied Volvo Olympian new to the fleet in 1995. Volvo 40 is named BEATRICE MAUD and 45 (former L100) is sturdily named ROYAL OAK.

Arriva the Shires ex London Olympian
London Country North West Olympians were temporarily displaced from duties with Arriva the Shires by dual door ECW bodied Olympians rendered surplus from the Arriva fleets in the capital. Former L211 (D211FYM) is seen with former L31 (C31CHM) and LCNW LR92 (5122) in the temporary parking area outside Wycombe Bus Station during initial town centre reconstruction in October 2005. Though the London buses have no blinds fitted, a piece of paper in the window shows D211 has been at work on town service 326.

On A Mission of Milton Keynes London Leyland Olympian L16
Former L16 (C816BYY) passed to Arriva the Shires and on to On A Mission of Milton Keynes. The ill-fated operation had a fleet of second hand, third hand or more deckers for Buckinghamshire school contracts in the Aylesbury area. Reliability was poor and the company soon went out of business. The "straight out of service" appearance of L16 was typical of the fleet. The bus is followed by one of Motts Travel's ex Shearings Alexander bodied Leyland Tigers, E29UNE.
