Emblings Crosville Olympian at SHOWBUS The one Olympian amongst the strong VR contingent from Emblings was former Crosville DOG128 (PFM128Y) from the associated Judds fleet.

Emblings Colchester Atlantean at SHOWBUS
Two Colchester Atlanteans reunited at SHOWBUS. Former 66 (NNO66P) joined the VR contingent, its ECW body helping it to blend in. Talisman Coach Lines enetered newer 90 (RVW90W) kept in Colchester livery. The two deckers shared the limelight with Duxford' Vulcan bomber, temporarily ousted from Hangar 1 during the current building programme at the Museum.

Bolton Corpoation Crossley
Ralph Oakes-Garnett entered this classic 1949 all Crossley SD42/7. The bus was originally Bolton Corporation 8 and is now part of the Tameside Transport Collection. A stall accompanied the bus so it was conveniently pitched next to the Classic Bus marquee.

Lockeys East Kent Regent V Making its debut at SHOWBUS was this former East Kent full front AEC Regent V with Park Royal body. PFN858 however spent money years after its time in Kent with North-East operator Lockeys of Bishop Auckland, in whose livery it is currently displayed. Unfortunately a malfunction prevented it doing its scheduled tour of Duxford Village.
