King Alfred Leyland Tiger Cub
King Alfred WCG104 was one of a batch of three Leyland Tiger Cubs (WCG103-105) with Weymann bodywork bought in 1959. WCG106 & 107 were AEC Bridgemasters bought the same year. WCG is seen at the 2001 Southsea Spectacular.

King Alfred Leyland Tiger Cub The bus is found in much the same spot two years later, but this time next to a Royal Blue LS rather than a Guernsey Motors Albion.

Earlier that year the Tiger Cub was with Stagecoach Dennis Dart/Alexander Dash 32314 (PSU787) - originally 474 (N314 AMC). Stagecoach painted the bus in the old King Alfred colours as part of the 30th Anniversary of the end of the company, when it was sold to Hants & Dorset.

King Alfred Dennis Star of the incredible fleet of preserved King Alfred buses is OU9286, a 1931 Dennis 30cwt with Short 18 seat bodywork. It is seen at Southsea in 2001.
