Bristol VRTSL3 ECW Southdown 615 & Hampshire Bus 160
Two Bristols seen together at Southsea in summer 2003. In yellow is former Southdown convertible open top 615 (UWV615S) and on the right surviving Stagecoach Hampshire Bus VR 160 (JOU160P), which had been a successful "Showbus" for many with Cheltenham & Gloucester though new to the Bristol City fleet.

Ex Southdown Bristol VRTSL3 ECW 673
Former Southdown 673 (EAP973V) was transferred under Stagecoach ownership to East Kent as their 7973. It is seen in October 2003 under new ownership again and in use on London Emergency Tube replacement services.

Gray Line Vancouver Southdown Bristol VRTSL6G ECW
New briefly as Brighton, Hove & District 2101 (OCD771G), this early flat front Mark I VRTSL6G is seen working for Gray Line in Vancouver. It is outside the cruise ship terminal, a key (and quay) departure point for city tours. The Gray Line tour has since been discontinued, but 2101 has a new lease of life with Royal Blue, not the south west of England coach operator, but the tour operator on Vancouver Island in Victoria. The bus does have connections with south west England having passed from Southdown to Western National in 1986 as their 1057. It was exported to Canada in 1992 as Gray Line 417.

Summercourt Travel Bristol VRTSL3 ECW UWV617S
Former Southdown convertible open top 617 (UWV617S) is seen with Summercourt Travel in Newquay in June 2005. After fifteen years service with Southdown and its Stagecoach successors, 617 was transferred within the group to Fife Scottish as 1107, where it spent seven years on the St Andrews tour, but with its roof refitted. It then had a checkered history with Chepstow Classic Buses, being loaned to Nostalgiabus, Mitcham and loaned Roulston (Glasgow Corporation Transport) for Glasgow city tours in Glasgow Corporation orange and green. It had two years with Summercourt, passing in January 2006 to the Routemaster Heritage Society, London and on to the 617 Preservation Group restored to Southdown livery.
