United Counties Devon General Bristol VR
The influx of large numbers of minibuses into the Devon fleet in the early eighties saw many quite new Devon General Bristol VRs redeployed across the country. This example is freshly painted in Stagecoach colours for United Counties. These are the early days of Stagecoach and before the first stylised fleetname echoing the map of Scotland was introduced. Hence the United Counties fleetname is a version of the one to be seen on the green VR alongside.

Stagecoach Manchester Bristol LH VDV105S
A long way from home. Former Devon General 105 (VDV105S) which dates from the time when Devon General was part of Western National, is seen in the Stockport Daw Bank garage and ownership of associate fleet Stagecoach Manchester. It is well suited to its new task in life - a driver training unit.

Norfolk Green Devon General Bristol VR LFJ882W
Courtesy of Norfolk Green, its new owner, is this picture of VRTSL3 LJF882W, which, though originally with Devon General, came to Norfolk Green via Ribble.

Olympian Coaches Dennis Dart SLF Plaxton P758FOD
New to Stagecoach Devon as 33158 (P758FOD) this Dennis Dart SLF is though never to have seen Stagecoach livery having spent its life in Exeter Park & Ride liveries until joining the Harlow based Olympian Coaches fleet. It is seen in that town, a hot bed of bus company competition at the time, in August 2012.
