 Several older Arriva London deckers were prepared for provincial use (refurbished, painted aquamarine and converted to single door) but were first used on Olympic shuttles in summer 2012. This Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini was destined for Arriva Midlands as their 4017 (UUI2913) but was London VLW9 (LJ51DFO). It is seen near Bow in one of the special Olympic traffic lanes followed by a Wilts & Dorset Volvo B7RLE, both buses minus any fleet insignia, as per Olympic requirements. |
