Magpie Travel Mercedes 709D Reeve Burgess F310EJO
The Wycombe 400 service arose out of a requirement to serve an annex of Bucks College at Flackwell Heath and for some years was operated by Chiltern Rover doubledeckers. The service became available for use by the public and extended to serve the Sports Centre as shown here with journeys provided by smaller vehicles when not required to shift large numbers of college students. For a while the service was split between operators allowing minibus operator Magpie Travel the opportunity to run this ex Thames Transit Reeve Burgess Mercedes 709D, F310EJO, on the route. In 2001/2002 the service passed to Carousel and saw operation by red London Metrobuses before becoming the purple route in Wycombe's rainbow network and forsaking the sports centre as well as swapping Metrobuses for Dennis Darts.
