Thames Travel adopted a bright new livery after the bland all over white. The wavy blue and green lines are supposed to reflect the Thames and rolling countryside of the operating area. This MAN 14.220 with MCV bodywork, 205 (AE05EUZ), is seen on Reading Station forecourt in July 2008.

Thames Travel 857 (AE57LYP) is a later MAN/MCV delivery seen a few months earlier in Oxford.

The bus is seen again in Oxford on the same day, but with a more engaging backdrop.

Sister vehicle 1057 (AE57LYR) is also in Oxford in May 2008.

Carousel Buses had a couple of MCV Evolution MAN 14.240 models and these were transferred to Thames Travel. This is former Carousel EVO12 (AE59AWH), renumbered 418, seen in the old Thames Valley bus station in Reading in June 2014. The second MAN, 419, was transferred back to Carousel after a short stay and a repaint back into red livery.
