Harry Blundred's obsession with minibuses when he took over the South Midland operation knew no bounds and Mercedes 709D, 323 (F323EJO), with dual purpose seating for 25 in its Reeve Burgess body is seen here at speed in Oxford Tube livery. |
New for the Oxford Tube in 2009 was a fleet Van Hool Astromega doubledeck luxury coaches, a far cry from 323 above. Seen here on the M40 in April 2011 is 50216 (OU59AVC), one of a fleet of 26 Astromegas which displaced the Neoplans after five years loyal service.

Seen in February 2011 on the M40 near Loudwater is 50205 (T60UBE). The first five Astromegas have the T-UBE registrations transferred from the Neoplans.

At the same location on the same day is 50217 (OU59AVD), though the scene could just as easily have been any summer day in 2012!
|
Back in Spring 2010, when still quite new, 50213 (OU59FNG) is seen at speed on the M40 near Handy Cross, High Wycombe.
