BUSWORKS SURGERY
Busworks
Specialist vehicle restorers, Busworks, will be holding a surgery for preservationists, a display of some of their restored vehicles and giving a chance to travel on a couple of them.

ON SITE BUS
With the display spreading from one end of the mammoth Duxford site to the other, there will be a free low floor shuttle bus running the length of the site between 11.00am and 4.15pm. Some doubledeckers will supplement the service to afford grandstand views of the display.

Bus service from Cambridge
Stagecoach Citi7 will provides a service from Cambridge Stations to Duxford. This will be supplemented by extra journeys in the morning and a late return journey, click here for the times.

THE BUS STATION.
This will be the area immediately in front of Rally Control, by the American Air Museum. The Bus Station will be for vehicles coming and going on the DUXFORD VILLAGE TOURS throughout the afternoon. The 2009 timetable will appear when it is finalised.

CAMBRIDGE BUSWAY.
Unfortunately the longest busway in the world will not now open until after SHOWBUS so there will not be an excursion to view this exciting development - hopefully in 2010.

Site layout.
The entry arrangements for 2009 will be different to 2008 as the far east end of the site will be out of use because of the dismantling of the Helitech exhibition. Consequently a new airside parking area will be used in the centre of the site - this will primarily accommodate the 1949-2009 display.
See the site map.
