One of the first things that Arriva Kent Thameside did was to invest in a fleet of new Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC buses to upgrade the 320 Hemel Hempstead - Rickmansworth service to Sapphire standard, the buses being amongst the first to appear in the revised Sapphire branding. Here 6528 (YX17NFF) is seen loading for Rickmansworth in Watford High Street in July 2017.

The 320 is one of many routes to serve Watford Junction Station, which is a little remote from the town centre Enviro 6527 (YX17NFE) turns into the Bus Station with one of the Garston based ALX400 doubledeckers on London contracts in red.

Back to Watford High Street and 6522 (YX17NEU) is seen loading for Hemel with an Optare Versa branded for town service 10 behind.

Forward to May 2018 and just off Marlowes 6522 is seen again substituting for one of the new Van Hool Astrons on Green Line service 758 to London. Apparently this is a regular occurence.
