An unusual acquisition was this Volvo B9M with Plaxton Bustler bodywork from Bharat in the West Midlands, in whose livery it was used initially. The vehicle originated with Harris Bus in Essex. It is seen here resting on a private hire duty in High Wycombe.

 Less than two months after featuring at SHOWBUS international 2007, the oldest bus in the Red Rose fleet was reduced to ruins in a fire in the yard in the early hours of November 3rd. |

Another Red Rose Tiger, E737WOK, was one of many ex Ministry of Defence Tigers which found subsequent psv use. The vehicle attended Showbus as a support vehicle in both 1998 and 1999, its 'ambulance' style rear doors proving useful for loading and transporting rally paraphenalia! It is seen here leaving the Grange School coach park in Aylesbury, the hub of a massive school transport operation involving the town's three grammar schools and the Grange itself.
