Alder Valley 401 (CBL355B) was originally Thames Valley S306 and spent most of its life on the Oxford - Reading route. With the unusual high pitched T-style destination indicator, the three 54 seaters were imposing machines. The bus is seen at the 1975 SHOWBUS rally in full NBC livery.

 Hillingdon Showbuses were a time for Alder Valley and Thames Valley buses to come together, particularly to pose for photos at the end of the weekend. Here K 446 is seen with Thames Valley LWL 616, one of the first three RELLs, a new VR and an Alder Valley liveried Loline.  |
