There are also a couple of LS rears visible and an LD on stand. Passing through the station is a Southdown Plaxton Panorama bodied Leyland Leopard.

Thames Valley 596 (FMO978) was from the batch of 15 Bristol KS6Bs delivered in 1960/61. The six from 1961, of which 596 is one, had the luxury of rear platform doors. Subsequent Ks were the wider KSW type, the 'S' is believed to stand for 'stengthened'. Thmes Valley 596 is seen at Slough Railway Station awaiting departure on the main road service 60 to Maidenhead.

From Thames Valley's first batch of Bristol KSW buses is 640 (GJB278). The bus is seen in the terminus yard at the back of Windsor & Eton station, which is conveniently
opposite Windsor Castle.

An unusual secondhand purchase was a pair of Bristol KSW buses from United Welsh. These arrived at the same time as several United Welsh Lodekkas. This bus was put into service and is seen at Newbury. Helping it to standout from the crowds is the cream band below the upper deck windows. Buses painted at Newbury kept this feature (including D18, the only two cream band FLF).
