This view of 748 on the Slough Running Day on route 63 is more authentic. The 63 went to Maidenhead via Burnham and Cliveden, however the bus is heading into Slough - probably with the blind set for the next run. In the latter days of Thames Valley intensive services were run out of Maidenhead depot to serve Slough and the Slough Trading estate. Buses would frequently work into Slough on one of the routes numbered between 60 and 70 and work back out on another.
