In July 2019 we have two more examples of route branding in Uxbridge Station. On the left is Abellio's Enviro200 8569 (YX11HPE) branded for the U7 and on the right a similar bus for Metroline's A10, DE1584 (LK08FNG). Route branding is confined to a few select areas in London. Prior to Ken Livingtone's all red policy, routes could be partly distinguished, particularly in central London, through the individual contractor's liveries.

Later that same day we caught up with U7 branded 8569, back in Uxbridge, with this nearside view. Unfortunately the U7 branding on the side interacts with the mouldings to occasionally make it look like the 117. Another own goal for TfL route branding.
