Reunited with its original LT registration, Guernsey Bus 14 is seen at Cobham in April 2002. Now identifiable as RT2494 (KXW123).
|
In 2006 Guernsey Bus 14 was on display at the Alton Rally on one of the best summer days that year, just perfect for an open topper. |
With blinds set for Woodley and a very battered roof Park Royal bodied RT360 (HLX177) is seen in the Lower Thorn Street yard of Alder Valley in summer 1974. Alder Valley were experiencing an acute vehicle shortage - look at the repairs on the Lodekka alongside - and hired RT buses from London Country, Lowlanders from Southend, they even had a Portsmouth Titan and this RT, which is on loan from Continental Pioneer of Richmond in an attractive blue and battleship grey colour scheme! |

Seen in Milton Keynes, RTL43 (JXN366) was an early sale from the London RT fleet heading north to the A1 fleet in Ayrshire where it was unusually converted to a front entrance bus.

This rear view of RTL43 shows how the open platform was dealt with. By a bizarre coincidence the bus passed from A1 to A1 Coachways in London N22! It was photographed at the Winterhill depot of Milton Keynes Citybus where it was stored in preservation.
