Climbing out of the old Reading Bus Station is Weymann bodied RT4767 (OLD554) one of several London Country RT buses drafted in to help fellow NBC subsidiary Alder Valley which was experiencing acute vehicle shortages in the late seventies. Several other NBC subsidiaries were involved in teh loans, and some dubious vehicles from some non NBC operations!

On Derby Day route 406F sees the light of day shuttling between the Downs and Epsom Station. RT4743 (OLD529) is seen on the Downs in the late seventies.
