 Country area RT buses featured prominently in the RT line-up at SHOWBUS 2004. |
 RT3496 (LYR915), sadly without an appropriate blind for the roof route box, is seen at work in Slough on the occasion of the May 2006 Slough Running Day. |
 Slough Station car park was being used for buses on layover for the 2011 Slough Running Day. Two green RT buses can be seen, nearer the camera is Weymann bodied RT3254 (LLU613) in Green Line. The second in standard Country Area livery is not identified. In the foreground are modernised Green Line RF281 (MLL818) and MCW bodied AEC Merline MB90 (SMM90F). Next up are two red Routemasters, the second being RM2116 (CUV116C) and on the end two London Country are RML types.

 The annual Amersham & District local running day in October 2018 had RT1700 (KYY527) on layover in Wycombe Bus Station with Arriva the Shires Wright Streetlite WF 2526 (LK15FFU). The Streetlite is named Peter in honour of local district and county councillor and former mayor, Peter Cartwright, who is a high profile member of the Amersham & District Motorbus Society.
