For a network of disabled access bus services at the turn of the century, Thorpes operated Optare Solos. Once the London fleet became fully low floor, services like the 981 were withdrawn. Solo OSL2 (YJ51JWZ) - a mere 17 seater - is seen at work in Spring 2002.

The livery is better shown on this vehicle near the Archway Station. The later red with single yellow band livery was adopted to conform with LT's then requirements for central London routes.

DLF104 (KU52YKZ) is seen at Victoria on one of the Stationlink replacement services, the less than successful 705 which has now ceased. The 30 seat dual door SLF Dart is seen in June 2004.

Thorpes took over the short lived Metropolitan operation with its fleet of East Lancs bodied Volvo B6LEs used on route 487. This one was caught in full Thorpe colours.
