 Western VR 2273 (OCS599H) was another exiled to England. Newly repainted in NBC livery it is seen on the forecourt of the Maidenhead depot of Alder Valley with an idiosyncratic blind treatment. The bus became 891 with Alder Valley and joined the fleet in April 1973. |

Here is one of the Western SMT VRs that sat with United's at Brislington when new in 1969. It is seen in Bishop Auckland in August 1977 as United 630, but was new as Western 2260 (OCS590H).
