Duxford's DC3 Dakota made a nice backdrop to the collection of MK Metro and Optare
products at the show. A standard livery MK Metro Solo can be seen alongside an unexpected
entry, a Solo in North Beds livery.

 The MK Metro Solo is in a special route branded livery for MK city service 8. Likewise, the Wright bodied DAF SB120 is in orange for route 5. The Solo is a recent acquisition from Weaverway of Newbury. |
 The two buses had synchronised destination blinds alternating between "SHOWBUS 2005" and their route destinations above. |
 The third "destination" related to the company's success winning the prize for the Best New Millennium bus. |
 MK Metro 61 (YG52CMU) arrives at SHOWBUS. The Wright bodied bus was appropriately new to Wright of Millport. |
