A personal favourite from the BusWorks vehicles was this former Eastern National Bristol Lodekka seen arriving at Showbus. The buses were quite new when I first met them, when I spent six months working in Southend in the summer of 1970 and were to be seen regularly plying the busy route from Southend to Wood Green in London.

The bus, 2614 (AVX975G), is seen later in the afternoon sunshine in the BusWorks display. The rear windows downstairs had frosted glass to obscure the walk in luggage area.
