East Kent Premier Operator
In the early privatisation era, before acquisition by Stagecoach and East Kent won the coveted Showbus Premier Operator Award at Woburn Abbey in 1990. Here the crew of the new Northern Counties bodied Olympian pose with their prize shield and Lord Tavistock, who was presenting the awards.

East Kent Ford Transit Dormobile 5 & MCW Metrobus 7755
East Kent followed the national trend into minibus operation with a fleet of 16 seat Transits in this rather brash livery, in contrast to the more sombre and traditional colours of the Mark 2 MCW Metrobus alongside. Seen in Dover, the Dormobile bodied Transit is 5 (C705FKE) and the Metrobus 7755 (E755UKR).

East Kent AEC Regent V Park Royal GJG757D
Back to the Maidstone & District Centenary Rally where former Park Royal bodied AEC Regent V has become the "Home Front Bus". Passing through several users after withdrawal it ended up in Bath where it was converted into a mobile museum depicting life in the forties. In this guise it returned to Kent to the Dover Bus Museum in 2008. The "Home Front Bus" owners make the bus available for schools and event organisers.
