 In 2016 the owners of 5385 commited to the long journey from Kent to SHOWBUS at Donington Park.

 The reason for the marathon journey from Kent was to join a special gathering of six Alexander bodied Volvo Ailsas. Beyond 5385 is one from Tayside, 273 (WTS273T), which also had a long journey to Donington, then the Derby low height Ailsa in Black Prince livery, TRR814R, and another Black Prince Ailsa which the company acquired with the other two trial Ailsas for London, V1 (A101SUU). Completing the line up are the two preserved West Midlands buses, 4738 (JOV738P) and 4527 (TOE527N).
