From its final days with its original identity, Plaxton bodied Bedford YRQ YRU160K was snapped out of the car's rear window on the M4 when quite new. |

New to Black & White Motorways this Duple Dominant bodied Leyland Leopard, 196 (AFH196T), is in a livery for a contract with P&O Normandy Ferries. The France Ahoy branding suggests that NFX443P was also used similarly. Being part of National Travel South West, the nucleus of which was Black & White meant Shamrock & Rambler received a number of their cast offs. |

As privatisation approached Shamrock & Rambler gained this more distinctive livery as seen on this Plaxton Supreme IV bodied long PSU5 Leyland Leopard, KAD347V seen in Victoria Coach Station in the eighties, bound for Bournemouth on a National Express working. The coach was also new to Black & White. |

Another of the former National Express Original London Sightseeing Tour open top conversions was ML12 with original registration A112KFX. The long coaches proved popular as London opentoppers reseated for maximum upper deck capacity. The bus appears to be in a livery akin to that used by Kentish Bus who used Metroliners on their commuter Kentish Express services, but is not known to have operated for them. Interestingly it attended SHOWBUS 2006 in Arriva Sightseeing livery with a preserved Kentish Express MCW Metroliner. It is seen here, owner unknown, at the 2012 FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool, but clearly not full of Liverpool supporters! |
