Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian 755 (R755GDL) made a surprise appearance at Millennium Showbus and was the first official Southern Vectis entry to ever appear at a Showbus Rally.

The same bus seen earlier in the year at the rally held closest to its home - the Royal Victoria rally in Southampton.

 Identical 744 (R744GDL) appeared as a fairly late entry at SHOWBUS international in 2001. |

 Southern Vactis bought this recently accident damaged Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian acquired from sister fleet Solent Blue Line. Having sustained roof damage the bus, 738 (R738XRV), became an obvious candidate for the Isle of Wight company's sightseeing services, branded "Island Breezers". The destination display was a nice touch for its display at SHOWBUS 2007. |
 Prior to donning Route Rouge livery Southern Vectis' Leyland Olympians enjoyed this restrained jade and sand colour scheme which had replaced NBC green and white as seen on 689 (RDL689X). |
