 Maybe it was the influence of the Leylands from Bournemouth but Daimler Fleetlines were abandoned in favour of Leyland Atlanteans with the delivery of 26 (XRF26S) and two others in 1978, seen here in 1980, but they were joined by two East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominators. Had East Staff's stuck with Fleetlines they would have arrived with Leyland badges by then anyway.
