 Sixteen years later it is arriving at Donington Park for SHOWBUS international.

 The exit from Donington was quite spectacular in 2016 after threatening rain most of the day - and actually raining occasionally - the sun came out for the departures, and in just the right position with 301 followed by Devon General MCW bodied AEC Regent V 524 (EOD524D).

 Not usually the forte of Buses Festival, but in 2018 they managed, whether by accident or design, to get two Metropolitans to display side by side. Ensignbus had restored London Transport's MD60 (KJD260P) back in 2014 when it appeared in the Regent Street Year of the Bus display and at SHOWBUS, so here it is with Leicester's 301. A Tyne & Wear Metropolitan was preserved for a while, but went for scrap.
