Western SMT Leyland Leopard Plaxton 25728
Arriving for SHOWBUS international at Donington in 2017 was this Plaxton Supreme IV Express bodied Leyland Leopard in Western SMT livery. The coach has an interesting history, it was one of a pair new to Leicester as 1 (TBC1X). It is believed to have been sold to neighbouring City of Nottingham's coaching division who sold it to Newcastle based Blue Bus Services. From there it passed with Blue Bus to Stagecoach, gaining the famous stripey and joining Western SMT as 628. Later numbered 25728 it was transferred to the Isle of Arran in traditional Western black and white and as a member of the Stagecoach Heritage Fleet. For a while it carried former Routemaster registration WLT546 off RM546. The TBC1X registration was sold on so when the coach lost WLT546 it ended up with BAH809X.
