The first D10M deckers acquired by Northampton Transport were a small batch of two East Lancs bodied examples, of which 102 (D102XNV) is a representative. It is seen here parked up in Greyfriars Bus Station. Unlike the Alexander examples it has dual purpose seating. There is a third East Lancs D10M, 122 - an Alexander vehicle having been rebodied which won the prize for the best FirstGroup vehicle at SHOWBUS 1999.

Singledecker 113 (G113ENV) is one of the Duple 300 bodied Volvo B10M singledeckers, seen here on the Park & Ride service. It has dropped off near the Northampton Theatre and does not serve the Bus Station.

First Northampton 410 arrived in 1999 from the Rider Group of First subsidiaries in Yorkshire. It is a Duple Dominant bus bodied Leyland Tiger.

Older Alexander bodied 86 (F86DVV) made it to SHOWBUS international 2002 at Duxford complete with magenta, and a shallower dark blue skirt. One of First Badgerline's identical buses was also at the rally, but being a late arrival failed to join the First display. |
