In 2013 "PAX" made a trumphant return to south Wales, once more resplendent in its Bedwas & Machen UD Council blue. Its days in yellow, first with Stevensons and then MK Metro were at an end. Julian Peddle still owns "PAX" but has placed it on long term loan to the Cardiff Bus Preservation Group. It is seen at Barry Island on its first outing back in blue. |

The bus was the last lowbridge doubledecker with an upper deck side sunken gangway to be built. It is seen here again at Barry Island in June 2016 proving popular on the shuttle service to the Museum in the former Barry depot.

On the same day "PAX" is arriving at the Museum with a full load from the seafront display.
