In 2006 East Yorkshire Motor Services celebrated their 80th anniversary and to mark the occasion, Volvo 670 was painted in the company's old primrose and dark blue livery and lettered appropriately. It was also given the apt registration 80EYC. The bus is seen at SHOWBUS that year.

Seven months later the Plaxton bodied decker was most appropriately used on a courtesy service from the town centre to Plaxton's Centenary Open Day in Scarborough.

Wright bodied B7TL 706 (YX55DHN) was given the same livery treatment and appeared at SHOWBUS in 2009 freshly painted as such.
