welcome to the showbus picture of the week see over 10,000 pictures worldwide free to view in our gallery On Tuesday it was the Melbourne Cup and Shoreditch sponsored the free bus service from Federation Square to Flemington Race Course. Doubldedeckers were provided by local specialist operator Dee Decker. Former Crosville DLG879 (836AFM), known as "Lodekka" in the fleet is seen in Flinders Street being boarded by racegoers appropriately dressed for the occasion. The 1957 bus gave a spirited performance on the run to the racecourse. Former Plymouth Atlantean/Park Royal, once 234 (JJY634G), was accompanying the LD.
