Connex Leyland Tiger PMC 85
Seen on a private charter in August 2005 between the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House was 85 (MO789), a PMC bodied Leyland Tiger with a long history. It was new to Hadfield Bus Lines in Engadine in 1985 and acquired by Southtrans with the Hadfield operation in 1989. Connex sold it to Rover Motors, according to "Australian Bus Fleetlists" in 2004 - which is obviously at odds with when this photo was allegedly taken - it existed there as 3 (MO0090). Rover did not keep it long passing it to the ill fated King Bros as 174 and like most of their operation it ended up with Busways where it became 628 and later given new rego 5565MO. It moved on again in 2009 becoming 2 in the fleet of Collins of Port Macquarie.

Connex Hino RG197K Custom 210 73
The only Hino in the fleet, RG197K 73 (MO8696), was seen in January 2002 working in the original Southtrans area. Dating from 1993 it has a Customs 210 body and was acquired from dealer stock.

Connex Volvo B6R Custom 510 75
Seen the same day was a Custom 510 bodied Volvo B6R, 75 (MO9198), one of four acquired in 1997.
