With deregulation, Buffalo Travel was one of many coach operators that expanded the bus operation of their businesses. Success with Hertfordshire tendered services 43 and 46 saw the company buying brand new buses. This is one of three Volvo B10M buses with Plaxton Derwent bodies, F151KGS, for the 46 between Luton and Hemel Hempstead. It is seen in Hemel Bus Station one evening alongside Seamarks hired Leyland Leopard PSU4 with Northern Counties bodywork, originally Chester 71 (NMB71P). but hired from Hyndburn Transport.
