Lutonian Dennis Dart Duple G128RGT
Former R&I Tours G128RGT was one of a pair of early Duple bodied Darts. They were purchased after Chris Day bought out Julian Peddle's share of the company to own 75% of the operation, though Julian remained as a director. Sadly the other Dart met with an accident after only a few weeks of service and was written off. When new R&I deployed the Dart on London tendered routes C11 and C12. In 1995 the bus was bought by Kentish Bus as their 98, later becoming 3098. In 1998 it transferred to London & Country DS180, moving on a year later within Arriva to Arriva North West as 1138, returning south to Lutonian in 2002.

Lutonian Dennis Dart Plaxton Pointer J134EDUV
More London Darts have joined the fleet and J134DUV, formerly London United DR134, is seen here freshly painted in the new livery, which has something in common with Red Rose's style. The strong orange and blue livery reflects the local football team colours and the dotted i the trajectory of a football. The bus is seen at the Lutonian depot shortly before departing for Cobham's 2003 rally to promote SHOWBUS.

Lutonian fleet arrives at Westcott
One Sunday in May 2003 two Motts deckers and several vehicles from the Lutonian fleet gathered at Westcott Venture Park to operate a Park & Ride to Waddesdon Manor for the Women's Cancer Charity Run, Race for Life. Unfortunately the organisers had been let down by Z&S coaches so at the last minute Motts and Lutonian came to the rescue. Here the bulk of the Lutonian vehicles involved in the operation are seen arriving at Westcott at the old Ministry of Defence Propellants, Explosives and Rocket Motor Establishment, which used to serve as an airfield before that.
