D207MKK is one of a number of interesting high capacity East Lancs bodied Scanias originally delivered to Maidstone Borough Council. This singledecker found its way to Prestwood via Seamarks at Luton who used it primarily to cope with school loads on the 88 Luton - Stevenage service.

Seamarks sold out to Dunn-Line and this picture, taken in 2000, shows the Volvo B10BLE painted in their livery with a visiting main fleet Jonckheere bodied coach alongside in the Luton depot yard on the Dunstable Road. Dunn-Line have since been acquired by French group Veolia, formerly known as Connex. |
