First Bristol Dennis Dart Plaxton 46254
Another step entrance Dart was seen that day in Marlborough Street Bus Station, 46254 (P254PAE). The combined bus and coach station dating from 1958 was rebuilt and reopened in 2006. The hitherto "black hole" was opened to the elemants and the depot maintenance section dispensed with. The individual service stands are shuttered from the prevailing weather, a saftey feature as well as staving off the worst of the weather. No such luck for crews who have to cross the exposed tarmac to access vehicles on layover.

Another of the Alexander ALX400 bodied B7TL Volvos, 32007 (W807PAE), is seen about to exit the Bus Station on route to Yate. Sadly the exit is no longer as imposing as it once was, just a gap out on to Whitson Street.
