 After the huge intake of C40LF buses, WMATA bought no vehicles until 2005 when ut switched to CNG powered Orion VIIs, followed in 2006 by Hybrid New Flyers, returning to CNG powered New Flyers in 2007 with 25 C40LFR models incuding 2804 seen in the special livery for Metro Extra branded services, like the 79 to Silver Spring, about ten miles out. |
