Arriva the Shires Leyland Olympian Alexander 5835
Olympian 5835 (G235VWL), another ex Wycombe, ex Oxford, Alexander bodied Olympian making a rare appearence on Reading services, at a time when the Plaxton Verde Volvos usually held sway.

Arriva the Shires Leyland Olympian Alexander 5091
The ex Wycombe Alexander bodied Olympians blended well with the Shires own. This is 5091 (F641LMJ) which was amongst the first doubledeckers ordered by Luton & District back in 1988. Here it is lettered for the X66 Luton - Milton Keynes service and is oddly seen in MK Metro's Winterhill depot.

Arriva the Shires Leyland Olympian Alexander 5101
Here 5101 (G651UPP) is on the Aylesbury stop of the 280 in St Aldates, Oxford. The former Luton & District Alexander bodied Olympian is on the route for which City of Oxford bought its Alexander bodied Olympians which ended up with Arriva via the Wycombe Bus purchase. Squeezing past 5101 is Red Rose's then new Optare Solo RR03BUS and Stagecoach Oxford's ALX300 bodied MAN 22923 (S923CFC).

Arriva the Shires Leyland Olympian Alexander 5831
Another ex Wycombe Bus Olympian, 5831 (G231VWL), is seen making headway through Beaconsfield on the 300 service from Wycombe to Uxbridge (the service used to start at Oxford and has its origins in the defunct 790 Green Line route). The 300 later became Arriva's trunk service between Wycombe and Aylesbury, unfortunate for any occasional visitors to Wycombe hoping to ride in the Beaconsfield direction!
