Stevensons Daimler Fleetline MCW 41 & Bristol VRTSL3 ECW 50
Stevensons bought two new ECW bodied Bristol VRTSL3 coach seated doubledeckers. This is 50 (PFA50W) seen with MCW bodied Daimler Fleetline 41 (JGU284K), former DMS1284 which spent its seven years working out of Tottenham depot. The DMS, originally numbere 17, lasted with Stevensons until January 1990 when it was involved in an accident during a violent storm and was written off.

Stevensons Daimler Fleetline Park Royal 43
Stevensons 43 (MLK457L), former DM457 worked out of Leyton depot for its seven London years. It is seen in company with what is probably an ex Maidstone Corporation Massey bodied Leyland Atlantean. The DMS passed to Midland Fox for spares in late 1990.

Stevensons Daimler Fleetline MCW 31
Another DMS that met with accident damage and was written off after only 18 months with Stevensons in September 1982. It was their 31 (THM708M), as MCW bodied DMS1708 it spents its London life at Potters Bar.

Stevensons Daimler Fleetline MCW MCW PRV 31 46 & 45
The bus is seen here at the left hand line up of this trio at Uttoxeter depot. Alongside is sister 46 (MLH303L), then Park Royal bodied 45 (JGF196K). The latter was DMS196, acquired from Wombwell Diesels and returned to Yorkshire for scrap in 1991. The bus in the middle must have been a great buy as it spent most of its London life in store at various depots, seemingly only operating out of Victoria depot for just three years. In 1991 it was sold to Midland Fox for spares and the remains went for scrap two years later.

Derby Daimler Fleetline Park Royal 253
In 1979 Derby took the opportunity to reduce its average fleet age on the cheap with three ex London DMS 253-255 (MLK440-442L) followed by 250 (JGU283K) and 256-259 (MLK463/465-467L) the following year. Five of the eight are lined up here in the depot, not long after acquisition with 253, DMS440, first in line. All are Park Royal bodied Daimler Fleetlines. Three more R-registered DMS followed in 1986.
