Finding uses for London's unwanted bendibuses has been a problem for operators and leasing companies. A number have found uses on student services and Brighton & Hove have taken a number from London General for their route 25 which carries a high proportion of university students. Mercedes Citaro 103 (BX02YZP) was a visitor to the 2010 North Weald Rally.

Other redundant London Citaro artics were dispatched north to Go-North East and painted in gold to add a wow factor to the express shuttle to the new Gateshea d Metrocentre where MA112 (BL57OXP) is seen in August 2014.
